Singing in the Rain

Cats and rain don't mix.

For those who have kitties in their home and lets the cat out of the house at regular times, make sure they are protected. It is monsoon season again and sickness and parasites follow. Make sure your cats are protected.

First, make sure they are protected internally. Give them a dose of vitamins. Make sure they have ample food and clean drink. Cats who are used to drinking clean water will opt to go home to drink clean water than drinking out of the gutter.

Second, protect them from diseases. Put spot on anti-parasites like Frontline, Heartgard, Advocate, etc. Make sure they are clean. Put flea powder, wash them with anti-parasitic soap and groom their coat to let the natural oils out.

Third, protect them from unwanted pregnancy. Spay or neuter your cats.

Lastly, for pretty little kitties, make sure they are protected from catnappers. Make sure they have their collars. If you can put microchips or trackers, so much the better. If you can make sure your cat stay at home, it would be much better for you and your cat.
